Puppies!
At DoChara, we usually have only 2 litters per year. We don't have wait lists. We start fresh after the previous litter have all went to their new homes. We ask that everyone fill out a questionnaire.
Deposit Information
- Deposits are taken when the pups reach 3 weeks of age.
- If you are asked for a deposit, you are getting a pup.
- Deposit amount is $300. $2700 balance to be paid upon pickup
- Most of the time, a deposit will be refunded unless someone backs out right at the last minute. We do understand that things happen.
vaccinations
All pups will have their first round of shots before they go home. They get a parvo/distemper shot between 7-8 weeks old. We follow a low vaccine protocol here at DoChara. We provide a vaccination schedule and a handout so you can chart all vaccines given.
Contracts
All puppies leave here with a signed contract. We have two types of contracts. Pet home and show home. Pet home contracts give limited registration and show contracts give full. The contracts aren't negotiable.
Pickup/delivery
We try the best we can to make it easy to get a pup from us. I've taken pups dozens of times to the airport in KC and there have also been dozens of times where I've met someone halfway. We don't charge for any of that. We want this to be something easy and stress free for everyone involved.
pup registrations
We do all the puppy registrations and we also pay for them. It's just easier for us to do it online. Believe me, if you mess something up and want to fix it, it costs money. AKC charges for literally everything. If we mess it up, we'll pay to fix it. That happens rarely.

Puppies in action! When the pups get to about 5 weeks old, we start taking them outside for this style of action shot. These are a favorite of ours and many other people as well.
